Love the power of imagination, what an amazing gift the mind is!
A simple truth is we have the choice and the freedom to change the images we continually mediate on in our minds.  If what you’re continually looking at isn’t in line with the truth that is in your heart, paint a new picture.  And, see the manifestation of the change.  What we look at, what we magnify becomes bigger.  If you need healing in your body, make sure the pictures in your mind are of Jesus your healer.  See yourself in Christ, healed and whole.  Magnify on His love, not fear, not defeat.  Mediate on truths in the Word that will set you free to receive the power of the gospel manifested in your flesh. This is God’s picture of you when He sees you in Christ.
Abundant blessings & love to you!

Food For Thought...

Food For THOUGHT....

Have you ever REALLY THOUGHT about the importance and consequences of your THOUGHT life? The Word of God has much to say about it; but my favorite verses (because the Lord gave them to me before I learned about them) are II Cor. 10:4-5 "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments (or imaginations) and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every THOUGHT into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

The Message Bible says, "we use our powerful God-given tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose THOUGHT and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ."

These scriptures brought even greater revelation the day I read the following words:

Sow a THOUGHT - Reap an act

Sow an act - Reap a habit

Sow a habit - Reap a lifestyle

Sow a lifestyle - Reap a DESTINY

Strongholds are first established in our mind because of wrong THINKING. Behind that stronghold is a lie that we have believed and allowed to become our personal truth. That lie can take us down a path that we don't want to be on if we continue to THINK on it.

If you are standing in faith for the complete manifestation of your healing - do NOT believe any lie that may enter your THOUGHTS. Cast it down immediately before you are tempted to act on it. Replace that wrong THOUGHT with God's right THOUGHT -- TRUTH!

One day as I was reading the Message Bible, these words from Romans 10 jumped off the page - "The earlier revelation was intended simply to get us ready for the Messiah, who then puts EVERYTHING right for those who trust him to do it ....... It's the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us." How simple these words - how wonderful these words - how powerful these simple, wonderful words are for us who trust what Jesus has done.

The word trust means to make someone a refuge. God is our refuge and strength. Sometimes, as David did, I sit and picture myself tightly nestled under the shadow of his wings, close to the heart of God, completely protected, completely safe; knowing that all my needs have been met because Jesus has put everything right for me. He is my salvation - spirit, soul, and body.

Because God's righteousness began working in our lives the very moment we believed in our heart and confessed with our mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and that God had raised Him from the dead, He keeps working in our lives by this same method.

Keep believing what He has done.

Keep trusting that He puts everything right.

Keep confessing His Word.

What Do You See?

                                        What Do You See?

Are you sick?  Are you a believer in Christ Jesus?  If so, let’s right now go to the cross, let’s look to Jesus.
We see Him on the cross suffering for all humanity that would believe on Him.  The greatest picture of love is to look at Him, the price He paid as our substitute for all sin and sickness and disease.  He paid the price; He redeemed us once and for all.  The sickness, disease or lying symptoms in your body are not yours.  They simply do not belong to you so do not receive them or all them to remain in your body.  Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior does not have to go back to the cross and take another stripe on His body for you.  When He said it is finished He meant it.  Every Word of God is pure, it is true.

We know that faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. Daily meditate on it, pray it, say it, and let it become healing to all your flesh.  No one else can do this for you.  The Gospel is the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes.  Salvation is wholeness in Christ Jesus.  He is the Way, the truth and the life for everything you will ever face in life.  Beloved do not be distracted by thoughts that are outside of love. God is love.  Renew your mind continually on the Word/Jesus and know these truths will make you free.

Prayer:  Father, I ask in Jesus name that the one reading this if they need healing in their body would receive a heart revelation of your love for them.  May they also know the finished work of the cross and who they are in Christ Jesus in such a way that every part of them that needs healing would receive your truth (Jesus/the Word)from the spirit and become manifest in their flesh, bringing them into the wholeness in Christ Jesus right now. I thank you Father you are healing people right now in Jesus name. Amen.

John 8:32 says, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

As we read the Word of God, we need to pay close attention to each and every word. Sometimes, we have a tendency to quote only portions of a scripture and leave out some key words that make a very big difference.

In this particular verse, it's very important to pay close attention to the word know. It's not merely the truth that sets us free, it's the truth that we know that will set us free.

The word know means to perceive, understand, recognize, gain knowledge, and come to realize. It is a progressive word. It is the knowledge that has inception, a progress, and an attainment.

Andrew Wommack stated it this way, "It is not the truth that sets you free; it's the truth you know that will set you free. And the truth is that you need to put your faith in what God has already done, not in what you do. God, by His grace, has already provided healing, prosperity, forgiveness of sin, and much more. However, it must be appropriated by faith."

God has done His part by giving His Son, Jesus. His grace has provided everything through the sacrifice, death, and resurrection of Jesus. He bore the stripes for your healing. Our part is a response to this amazing grace by faith.

A good prayer is Eph. 1:18-19, that "the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance of the saints, (19) what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe according to the working of His mighty power."

Did you notice in those two verses that its all about "HIM"?

Healing for The World

One book that has truly blessed and inspired me to step out in faith for myself and others and receive the healing that Christ purchased for us is “ Jesus The Healer” by E.W. Kenyon. Dr. Kenyon had a rare gift for presenting the deep and profound truths of the Word in a simple and easily understood way. This blog is from his book “Jesus the Healer”
 Healing for the World

God meets man where he is. Most of the healings that were performed by the apostles and the early church were among men and woman who had not yet become Christians. They were heathens, or they were Jews. Healing was God's method of advertising, God's method of revealing Himself to the natural mind. Jesus was an intrusion into the sense realm. But today the sense knowledge men have invaded the church and taken it captive. The sense realm is the realm of the natural man, that is, the man who believes only what he can hear, smell, feel, or see. God’s intrusion into that realm in the person of His Son as the head of the church was a miraculous invasion. Mark 16:16-21 gives us evidence for this. “ He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned. And these signs shall accompany them that believe” Our confession imprisons us or sets us free. A strong confession coupled with a corresponding action on the Word brings God on the scene. Holding fast to one’s confession when the senses contradict shows that one has become established in the Word. A Satan-inspired confession is always dangerous. Remember that he brought that disease, put it upon you. Your acknowledgement of the disease is like signing for a package that the express company has left for you. Satan then has the receipt for your disease. You have accepted it. “Surely He hath borne our sickness and carried our diseases” is God’s receipt for our prefect healing. A positive confession dominates circumstances, while a vacillating confession permits circumstances to govern one. Your confession is what God says about your disease. A negative confession will make the disease stronger. Then your confession heals or keeps you sick. The confession of your lips should have your heart’s full agreement.

Religion vs Relationship

While reading the book "Unmerited Favor" by Joseph Prince, I felt that the following excerpt would be good to share here as it relates to healing.

"Religion is binding. Religion will tell you that "God" wants you sick to teach you character and patience. Religion will tell you that "God" wants you poor, so that you will learn humility. It sounds so noble, doesn't it? But these are LIES from the pit of hell! Let me tell you this: It is the devil who wants you sick and poor, but the God I know has paid a heavy price to redeem you from the curse of sickness and poverty!

.... Let's forget about religion and let's focus on relationship. As a parent, how would you teach your child character and patience? With sickness and diseases? Of course not! .... Again, as a parent, how would you teach your child humility? By cursing your child with poverty for the rest of his life? No way! Now, isn't it amazing how everything becomes crystal clear when we start thinking from the point of view of a parent, and put our children in the picture?

When you start to think along these lines of relationship, everything will converge and you will begin to see things from God's perspective .... Our heavenly Father operates on the frequency of relationship, and through His unmerited favor in our lives, we learn character, patience, and humility as we rest from our self-efforts and depend on Him. The more we know our Father, the more we become like Him. This is how God causes us to grow from glory to glory in every area of our lives. It is simply by beholding Him!
You know as parents, we always seek the best things for our children. How much more would our Father in heaven want the best things for us, His precious children? In the same way that you want your children to be healthy, God wants you to enjoy His divine health. And the same way that you want your children to always have more than enough, God wants you to enjoy His supernatural provision. .... The Bible puts things in perspective most clearly in Matt. 7:11 - If you then, as imperfect parents know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him'!"
